As a Junior Mechanic at RPM Raceway, I maintain and service a fleet of 80+ electric go-karts across 8–12 back-to-back racing sessions daily, covering battery pack management, electrical wiring, motor connections, and full drivetrain servicing.
I perform pre-session safety inspections and real-time fault diagnosis between races, where zero downtime is the standard and problems need to be identified and resolved within minutes.
This role has given me direct hands-on experience with live EV systems including high-current wiring, cell-level battery diagnostics, and charge management in an operational environment where the karts have to be race-ready at all times.
